The FAQ
What location?
Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home or other location of your choice. I offer a small, cozy Newborn Studio in my home.
How long have you been doing this?
I started my business in 2013. In 2014 I enrolled in nursing school and focused on becoming an RN. I restarted my business in January 2021.
How many photos do we get?
The session fee covers my time and wardrobe styling. Digital images and print products are available a la cart (individually) and in packages. Any digitals purchased come with a print release.
How do we get our photos?
We will meet in person or over zoom within 2 weeks of your session for an image Reveal and Ordering appt. At this time you will view your session and select your images. I will perform a final edit then send you the completed gallery within 4 weeks of your session.
Do you retouch photos?
I do a basic retouching on images. Extensive retouching requires an additional fee of $10 per image.
Whats your turn around time?
I require up to 4 weeks for all sessions, although turn around time is often quicker. For a 72 hour turn around time there is a rush fee of $300. Weddings require 8 week turn around time.
How do we book a session?
I require the non-refundable session fee in order to book. I have limited availability so booking in advance is important to reserve the date.
If you purchase a package at the time of booking you will receive a FREE 11 x 14 canvas.
Once you message me with your contact information (Name, addresses, phone number and the date you'd like), I will send you an invoice and contract.
Can you help us with planning?
I spend time planning location and wardrobe. Together we will build your wardrobe and choose clothing that you love for your session.
How far out do you book?
As a full-time nurse with a large family booking in advance is important as I have limited availability.
What should we do for an engagement session?
Engagement sessions can be purchased on their own or as part of a wedding package.
What should we wear?
My images are dramatic and emotive and wardrobe is a vital part of creating artistic images. Therefore, I have a Client Closet available. I suggest no tennis shoes unless they are plain in color such as white or black. Also, please prepare you feet to be photographed because I love cuddly, barefoot images!
Do you offer a Maternity & Newborn Bundle?
Yes, I do! When you book a Maternity and Newborn session in a bundle, you receive a $100 product credit.
